How Phone Call Tracking Works
For online campaigns, a unique 1-866 or local phone number is dynamically generated, depending on the source of that traffic. For offline campaigns, NetConneXion simply registers a new number through the system and you use that number in your marketing campaign to allow "Phone Call Tracking" to track the effectiveness of that marketing initiative.
Online Example: Your current phone number is displayed to all traffic coming to your site. If a user comes from a pay-per-click ad or an organic search, this number will dynamically change to a local or toll free number. When a user calls this number, the "Phone Call Tracking" system registers that call coming from a Pay-Per-Click ad, tracks the call length and geographic location and even allows your team to rate the call.
Offline Example: If you have offline marketing initiatives you want to track, we simply register a new number through the "Phone Call Tracking" system. You add that new number to your offline campaign, i.e. post it in flyers, newspaper, magazines, YellowPages, etc. Every time the new number is called, "Phone Call Tracking" will track it to that marketing campaign and provide the same reports as mentioned above.
